The Football Pub Quiz is a one-off event from Question One, the team behind more than a hundred weekly pub quizzes across London, and it lands at Metropolis in Vauxhall on Thursday 30 April at 7.30pm.
Bring a team of up to eight, get a table, order a pint, and settle in for a proper night of football trivia. Entry is £4 per player and the winning team walks away with £120 in cash. Tables are booked in advance through TicketSource and we’re already past halfway on numbers, so don’t hang about.

Where it’s happening
The quiz is hosted at Metropolis in Vauxhall, a short walk from Vauxhall station (Victoria line, National Rail, and most of the bus routes south of the river). It’s not your standard pub setup, Metropolis is a properly cool venue with a buzzing atmosphere, plenty of space for teams of eight to spread out, and a full drinks offer at the bar.
Food is sorted too. Rather than one menu, Metropolis hosts a rotating line up of food vendors on site, so everyone at the table can grab what they fancy. Come hungry.
Who runs it
Question One has been running pub quizzes in London for years. We host more than a hundred weekly quizzes across Greater London, from standing room only nights in Islington to neighbourhood locals in Chiswick and Hackney. Who it’s for
Football quiz nights in London tend to fall into one of two camps: too casual to be satisfying, or so deep that only one person on each team actually answers anything. We aim for the middle. A good football quiz should give the most clueless person at the table at least three moments of glory and let the encyclopaedia have their moment on the tie-breaker.

Tickets are £4 per player through TicketSource. Book as a team and we’ll reserve a table under the team name. If you’re coming solo or as a pair, book what you need and we’ll find you a team on the night.
